John Carter is an unfairly excused science fiction masterpiece. What was the matter with it? In particular, what was off-base? Pacing? It was extraordinary!!! Coming from somebody who utilizes this word sparingly, this film was "EPIC." I’m close to 100% sure that time will empower objectivity, and objectivity will recover from the stinging impurity slapped on it because of a typically oversimplified repugnance for what is “standard” by film pundits. If a studio other than Disney had made a similar film with a portion of the budget, it would have been proclaimed a realistic accomplishment inside the science fiction class, yet its financial plan was seen as garish and its creation studio as infantile, so it became “cool” to detest it before anybody had even seen it.
